Jean-Marc Redon, born on December 16th in Neuilly sur Seine, is recognized as one of the best musicians of his style in Europe. Specialist of the 5-string banjo and guitar, he is also a composer and educator.
📖 Autobiography
Jean-Marc Redon, born on December 16th in Neuilly sur Seine.
I play the 5-string banjo and the guitar. I am also a composer. I have recorded several albums featuring some of my compositions. Thanks to my various experiences, I have gained the reputation of being one of the best musicians of my style in Europe. I have also created several educational works on the Banjo and I also give lessons.
Parallel to my musical career I worked in other sectors related to music. From 1976 to 1980 I was responsible for Marcel Dadi's music instrument shop. Then from 1981 to 1982, manager of the Central Music store (André Leprêtre). From 1982 to 1988, I was Head of sales at Editions Salabert. Finally from 1988 to 1993, Sales Manager at Sedim musical publishing distributor.
In 1993 I resumed my full-time musical activities.
