Christian Laborde embodies the excellence of French fingerpicking. Trained at the National Conservatory of Toulouse, he has developed a unique approach blending classical rigor and modern creativity, becoming an international reference in the art of fingerstyle guitar.

🎓 Training and Professional Beginnings

🎓 1973-1978: Classical Training

Classical Guitar studies at the National Conservatory of Toulouse.

🏫 1979-1988: Teaching

Teaches guitar in various structures in AGEN (music schools: Le Passage, Bon-Encontre, Centre Culturel d'Agen).

🎯 Since 1990: Fingerpicking Specialization

Conducts numerous 'Finger Picking' guitar workshops (International Guitar Festival of Cannes, Issoudun Convention, Orthez Workshop...).

Has been writing the "Marteau Picker" column (specialized in Finger Picking) in the monthly "Guitarist-Magazine" since 1997.

🎭 Compositions for Shows

As a composer, creates music for various shows (ballet "Les Assis", "Triangle" for Jordi Barre), co-signs the music for the musical comedy "Moon-clar Blues" with Roger Louret and writes the music for films "Furtif" for the series Histoires Naturelles -TF1 and Pyrénées Vie Sauvage.
