Born in Paris, of Hungarian origin, Yan Vagh has worked with Claude Barthélémy, Renaud Garcia-Fons, Mico Nissim, Gérard Marais, Didier Malherbe, Gong, Gwendal, Fontaine et Areski, Pierre Vassiliu, or as an arranger for Johnny Halliday.

🎼 Classical Training
Self-taught classical studies (orchestration, harmony) allow him to approach composition for classical formations. His work "Dodecatuor" is performed in concert by the Orchestra of Haute Normandie and recorded on disc (published by Fnac Musique) by members of the Paris Orchestra.

🎤 Prestigious Stages
As leader or soloist, Yan performs with various formations in Paris at New Morning, at Glaz'Art, at the Opéra Bastille, as well as at the Glastonbury Festival.
🎸 Trio and Residencies
He creates his Trio with percussionist Xavier Dessandre Navarre and bassist Ernek Evci. The "Club des sept Lézards" in Paris offers him a residency from March 2000.
Yan now focuses on a duo with Jean-Félix Lalanne, creating a common repertoire born from the crossed perspective of these two guitarist-composers.
